The best Calabrese bread I've ever tasted since moving to the GTA from Hamilton.

Very slow at the check out counter. Ice cream is over priced. But i'll give them another chance.

Better than Italy..absolutely the best of everything Italian! Love the desserts, cakes, mediterranean bread, deli and variety.

The best bacio sfgolia in the city. Rich chocolate and loads of hazelnuts in every bite. Delicious!!

Renovated in 2010 or so. Nice inside now. The bakery does sell fresh deli meats. Great bakery. I'd have to say that their Italian Rum Cake is by far the best I've tasted in Toronto.

GREAT italian bakery....try their chocolate croissants, sfoglia cake (mille feuille) and amaretto cookies...to die for!

By far one of the best, if not the best Bakery in the GTA. Their Pastry selection and quality is excellent and traditional to Southern Italian recipes, not to mention their cakes are always fresh, made to order, delivered on time, and worth every penny. The Bread is always fresh and ranges in variety from traditional buns, to ciambelle, corn bread, and artisan bread with grilled veg., olives, etc. Great for all types of Italian products ranging from pastas to conserves, etc. I can't think of a logical reason why to go anywhere else if I want quality Calabrese Pastry, bread, hot table, gelato, or even a good coffee.

Very good cold cuts - Excellent bakery and italian food.

The bread is ok but I really do not like the sweets. The cakes are too sweet with too much cream and the italian cookies are usually stale. Also, the floor was renovated not too long ago so that it is non-slip and it still smells from the chemical they used to make it non-slip (I'm guessing that's where it comes from).

I shop at Rustic on a regular basis, I find the personnel to b e wonderful, very professional. the food is excellent.

Great bread's and the hot table is pretty good too. The older woman serving is such a sweetheart, but the younger girl's never smile. The two guy's at the front are the same. Dont say much, never look happy, and half the time aren't even there half the time, and you wait until they decide to come over. Hot table is good, but if you want the absolute best hot table, check out Chicago Sandwiches & Pasta. Incredible, catering,pizza, kills California for sandwiches. I rate rustic 8-10.

I have known Rustic Bakery since High School and it is a really great place. The food is great and the prices are really good too! I am thinking of ordering my wedding cake here because I feel confident in their work and service) My mother in Law said she felt like it was like a little piece of Italy as we took off from our whole day bakery hunt! The employees don't appreciate customers. They act like they're doing you a favour by serving you.

It's a nice family bakery with great atmosphere if you know who all the characters are. Croissants, espresso, cappucino etc. are all fantastic and there's no better way to start the day.

I agree that the bread could be better but the clientelle asks for those whitbuns.

Rustic Bakery is honestly the best bakery i've ever been to in my life!!
The employees and the owner's are always polite and they greet you with a smile all the time. The pastries, cakes, ice cream, bread (really good especially the mediterranean...yummy), pizza and everything else they serve at the hot table are all amazing and always fresh!!! The coffee is unbelievable, it's out of this world, Domenic and Joey are honestly amazing at making coffee!!! Rustic has a warm feeling to it, it has a sense of home feeling to it. Mirella, Danny, and Sam keep of the fantastic work.

finally frank the baker is back!frank ur good ur cakes are fantastic and so are the pastries. and i see huge improvment on bread too. rustic is, for me the number one bakery in toronto.

Rustic Bakery, I was there for the first time and i felt a warm atmosphere. The workers and owners are very pleasant. The bread was fresh, the coffee was fantastic and the air, well, smell the freshness of great bread! I will definately return for future baked goods. Keep up the good work Danny and family!! Garnet

Rustic Bakery is a place where you can get a taste of Italy. They have amzing pastries and cakes, and a wide variety of breads. I love going to Rustic because everytime i walk in i am always greeted with a smile.

Rustic is excellent. It is more of an Italian gourmet food store and cafe than just a bakery. The ice cream is out of this world. You can get sandwiches made to order. Great assortment of Italian cheeses, cold cuts and other foods. We had a birthday cake custom made with chocolate and banana gelato and it was a big hit!
Absolutely delicious. The best thing to do at Rustic is to wander in during the day and have a capuccino, a chocolate croissant and read the paper! Almost like being in Italy.

i think rustic bakery is really growing to a succes in the last past few years, know with there new pastri chef and type of struture to there businuss they are heading in the right direction,they also have a new type of bread that i dont think ive ever had anything like it..honestly and truly this is the place to go for cakes,pastries, and bread.

i cant believe it for a italian bakery there breads is so bad it tastes like westons italian breads, and their paastries used to be good but lately donuts tastes better -(
